On April 6, 2004 his Bradley vehicle was hit in the turret ring just east of Ar Ramadi. The RPG penetrator struck Dave's right hand and blew it off at the wrist also causing shrapnel wounds to arms, legs, neck and face.
Dave was raised in California and currently lives in Iola, KS.

Surrendered his life completely to Jesus Christ after being delivered from drug addiction and self.
Spent 2002 & 2003 speaking in jails and rehab centers about deliverance through the power of Jesus.
Ordained in 2007 and became full time Pastor at My Father's Vineyard.
Master's Degree in Christian Counseling and Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Covenant Bible College and Seminary.
Continues to preach deliverance and reconciliation through Jesus from the pulpit at MFV, in the streets, and from the seat of his motorcycle in Pensacola and cities all across the United States, Canada, and Israel.
